Lena's Recovery: Saying goodnight to Grandma Monday

In Short

3/28/13 - Grandma had a stroke on Monday March 4. Grandpa called 911 and they could treat her early. After a few weeks at the hospital, she was moved to a rehab facility near my grandparents' home. She has many days where she is sleepy all day, other days where she is more alert and chatty. She is weak on her right side, but that is improving with therapy. Her short term memory isn't great, but we don't know yet whether that will improve or whether it is permanent. While she has her good days and not-so-good days, we're taking one day at a time and hoping we continue to see improvement throughout her recovery. Keep up the positive thoughts! <3
